Small Changes, Quiet Growth

When I moved into my new office, it felt a little flat, a little sterile. To soften it, I brought in a small gerbera – something living, something to care for.

On Wednesday when I left, there was just a small, green bud. By Monday morning, it had greeted me like this:

A bright red gerbera flower in full bloom, surrounded by lush green leaves, sitting on a windowsill with natural light streaming in.

🌸 Bright, open, full of colour.

Growth Happens Quietly

Sometimes growth takes place out of sight. Nothing seems to be happening… until suddenly, there it is: colour, presence, and energy. The change feels instant, but it was building all along.

Seeing that flower open made me smile, and it reminded me how the same is true in life and in people.

The Right Environment

A small change – a plant on a desk – shifted the whole feel of my workspace. It also reminded me of the potential in people when they’re placed in the right environment: supported, noticed, given space to grow.

Growth doesn’t always announce itself. But given the right conditions, it always finds its way through.
